S7 Ep.1 The Bad Batch Summary

The Battle for Anaxes rages. One of the Republic’s largest shipyards is under assault by Separatist forces. Jedi Generals–Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker–fight on the ground and in the air but to no avail. With every Republic offensive, the droid armies counter-attack with a more effective assault. Weeks pass and the Republic’s power on the planet begins to slip. Somehow, the Separatists know how to counter the Republic strategies

Enter Rex and Cody.

The Captain and Commander have a plan. Together, with Clone Squad 99–an homage to Clone 99 who died at the battle of Kamino–they will cross enemy lines and infiltrate a Separatist base. Along the way, these two –along with viewers–finally get to see the Bad Batch in action.

The Bad Batch Review: MOOOAAAAR!!!

The first episode of the seventh season of The Clone Wars leaves fans wanting more. Much more. Like one million parsecs MOOOAAAR!!! The episode is fast-paced and keeps the viewer glued to the TV. Dave Filoni brought his A-game to the table on this one and it is evident in the way he introduces new characters and the emotional impact we see from old faces.
