The Rise Together/Stand Together event was intended to launch first thing this morning. People stayed awake late into the night to get their first look at this new event. But when they updated their game and launched the event…nothing happened. That’s actually not true. The event made the game crash.
Holotable heroes took to the forum to report the bug in droves. At 2 AM this morning, CG_RyDiggs, from the EA Development team posted the following message:
Sadly, it looks like the event will be postponed until later, maybe this month, maybe just later. We will get double drops soon, but there’s no ETA on that. In the past, when things like this took place, SWGOH game managers provided players with free items and credits as a recompense for their failure. I’m not saying that will happen, but I wouldn’t scoff at a handful of crystals and maybe some raid gear. The Store still has the Phoenix Squadron packs and bundles available for purchase. This will give those who want to invest in a particular character or the entire squad more time to do so.
