I didn’t think I would reach this point in all my years of playing. I usually get angry when CG makes changes in the game that make it less enjoyable to play or when they take things out of the game and away from the player base.
Not anymore.
The changes to Conquest have made me apathetic. The nerfs that are going to massively affect GAC (my favorite game mode) have me concerned, but again, not angry. An angry player base is good because it means they still have passion for the game. They are angry because they love to play and don’t want to see changes negatively affect the game.
For me, it’s now apathy and I just can’t shake the feeling.
I’ve barely touched my alt accounts. I’m coasting through the game right now and I’ve all but given up on conquest because the time sink and effort required to reach a reward box I already know I’m not gonna reach is just too much. CG. You wanna cure my apathy? You wanna stop the exodus of players from the game? Just stop with the changes. Take a pause and do some self-reflection.
Then do the following.
Regarding Conquest
Does anyone else find that Conquest in SWGOH is too much of a grind?
1 – return the energy required to battle nodes to what it was before. 2 – Return the charge rate of energy to what it was before 3 – remove ALL the faction feats within the mode and return agency to the player competing in the game mode, or as a compromise, at least move the faction feats from sector feats to global feats so the player gets to choose where and when they attempt the feats. 4 – *this change is only if you refuse to do the above 3 changes* Increase the rewards for early reward crates and put R8 materials in box 4 minimum
Regarding GAC
Grand Arena Championship needs more respect.
1 – change the auto-deploy to be bottom-up and not top-down because the nerfs to off-meta counters will make it impossible to beat a 5 GL auto-deploy account. 2 reduce the Kyber banner requirement because full clears are going to be harder now to the current way auto deploys are implemented.
Or don’t cure the community apathy and watch as more and more people leave the game or go super casual. ^ content creators, that I know of are no longer going to be making content about the game. Do you want more to fall by the wayside? continue to do nothing and let the negative changes you have implemented remain. It is up to you.
