The people at EA have begun putting out an event calendar to let players know what to expect in the coming month. This allows players to plan a strategy to take advantage of the latest events and to maximize their chances at getting the most shards, the best gear, and the biggest bang for their buck.

 Phoenix Squad Event

The events listed below will talk about the events available in March and early April. These events will allow players to unlock shards for the crew of the Ghost from the Star Wars Rebels TV show.

Cantankerous Clanker

The Cantankerous Clanker is a daily repeating event that allows all holotable heroes to farm Chopper from Star Wars Rebels. The event stated on March 9^th and will run through April 7^th. The minimum level to participate is 20. There are three tiers to this event. The first tier is available to all players, while the second and third will depend on what level the Chopper has reached for the individual player.

Players who begin the challenge on day one should have enough shards to access tier two after 11 days.

• First Time Completion, Tier 1: None
  • Repeat Play: Chopper shard x1
• First Time Completion, Tier 2: Ability materials
  • Repeat Play: 1000 Credits
• First Time Completion, Tier 3: 1 Omega Material
  • Repeat Play: 1000 Credits

Supply and Sabotage- Hera

This event has already passed us. It began on the 9^th and ran until the 7^th. Players who participated were able to farm and unlock Hera. This was accompanied by a pack players can purchase to gain an additional 25 shards for Hera.

Hera has one of the most powerful affinities in the entire game. She gives all members of Phoenix squadron every other’s unique ability. An entire Phoenix Squad is going to be a force to reckon with.

Spectre One- Kanan

This is the third event in the Phoenix Squad character grab in the month of March. If this event plays like Supply and Sabotage, which it likely will, you will pit your best team against 4 tiers of increasingly difficult Empire teams. The minimum level required to participate in this event is level 20 and the event runs from March 16^th until the 18^th.

Awards for this event are Kanan character shards and credits. Along with this event, we should expect a package available in the store for purchase. We’ve already seen Kanan’s stats and he is going to be a freaking powerhouse. As a Jedi, Rebel, and Phoenix member, this force-wielding character is as utility as they come.

Zeb, Ezra, and Sabine will all have similar events like those of Hera and Kanan. You can expect to use these characters with your team through 4 tiers of increasingly difficult Empire enemies. Each event will run for roughly three days, by the end of which, you should be able to unlock the characters in question. It’s possible that there will be a pack available for purchase in the shop, but as of yet, I have only seen information for Hera, Kanan, and Chopper.

Listed below is all the event information you need for the rest of Ghost Crew.

Honor Guard- Zeb

• Runs: March 23^rd– March 25th
• Min Level Required: 20
• Main Rewards: Zeb Character Shards

Practice Makes Perfect- Ezra

• Runs: March 30^th– April 1st
• Min Level Required: 20
• Main Rewards: Ezra Character Shards

Art of Demolition- Sabine

• Runs: April 6^th – April 8th
• Min Level Required: 20
• Main Rewards: Sabine Character Shards

Other Player Events

These are the events that aren’t related to the Phoenix Squadron events that players will be able to participate in to gain gear, shards, and credits.

Palpatine Event. Emperors Demise

The Palpatine event started on March 9^th and will run through the 15^th. This is a repeating event that will post every other month. It will switch with the Yoda event in the off months. So noobs no longer have to wait six months to try to add the Emperor to their team.

You have to be level 20 to start the challenge. Each tier will gain you shards. If you can beat each of the various tiers in the challenge you will have a 7* Palpatine and the credits to raise him to that point.

You will need to have a solid rebel team to defeat this event. If you have the Wiggs (Wedge and Biggs) duo, make sure to use them. You may also want Leia, Akbar, and Lando. The final battle in the final tier will pit you against Palpatine and three Royal Guards. Take out the guards first and then knock out Palps.

*UPDATE*

The Sith characters have made the move to the Chromium packs pushing hte Rogue One characters to new locations. You can find the characters in the locations below

• Bistan – Cantina Battles Store
• Baze Malbus – Light Battle 9-C (Hard Node)
• K-2SO – Galactic War Store
• Jyn Erso – Guild Store
• Cassian Andor – Squad Arena Store
• Chirrut Îmwe – Fleet Store

Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Bistan, and Jyn Erso have just become somewhat farmable. Chirrut Imwe is farmable if you aren’t going after ships or if you have all the ships you want.

And unless there’s an act of God, you’re not getting Baze for at least 6 months.

April

April brings us Star Wars Celebration so look for new and fun events. There’s speculation that we are going to get a new ship event where we can get the Ghost and Phantom from Star Wars Rebels.

The login character for April is going to be Pao from Rogue One.
